Excellent location, very close to train station and many restaurants...just a few steps to the lovely lake area. It's close to shopping and sights, too, and if you're not too burdened with luggage, you can walk from the cruise center (we did, with 50-pound bags). Spacious and very comfortable apartment. Good location, close to the
city center and one minute walk from U-Bahn station. Fully equipped
kitchen, large bathroom and living/bedroom. I am a sophisticate
traveller, checked a lot of apart hotels and this boarding house will
definitely join my Top10. Excellent value-for money, highly recommend! -

I loved staying at the hostel! It was very modern and very clean. The
staff were so friendly! My room was with 6 other girls and very modern
too. Nice bunk beds and with privacy screens. Chargers for cell phones
and computers. You don't need adapters if you can charge with a
usb cable. Each bed has their own charging station along with light.

Lovely a quiet whilst sleeping - a big surprise considering location - no noise from outside or other people staying in the hostel.
Brilliant location - right next to the Hauptbahnhof, two art galleries/museums, lots of places to eat and easy walking distance to attractions such as Rathaus, Jungfernstieg, Alsterwasser usw.

I'd best describe the hotel as a "very comfortable, high quality hotel with friendly backpacker hostel type ambiance". Everything has been thought of to make the stay easy, agreable and fun - including option for travellers on a budget. Despite the affortable rooms, I found more "travel essentials" being met at the SuperBude than at most 4* hotels

Everything is brand-new and pretty well designed. Very stylish and simple. Breakfast for additional price but that was a good choice of food. The location is excellent: lots of bars, cafes and fruit markets. Just across the hotel one can find small shop to buy fish sandwiches. The centre is reachable by S- and U-Bahn, at the hotel also one can borrow a bike (we didn't try but it supposedly included in price).

As a disabled traveller I was really delighted with the hotel.
The grab rails in the bathroom for toilet use and the grab rails for shower use were exactly where they should have been, this making my stay both comfortable & safe.

The staff were very pleasant and professional and hard working particularly keeping the restaurant well stocked during peak times at breakfast. Everywhere in the hotel was quiet, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated.
Absolute value for money would have no hesitation to recommend this particular Holiday Inn Express.

The standard of the hotel is very high, across the board. We received a pleasant welcome and were escorted to our brand new, spotless room (of 5 star standard) where we spent two relaxing days. The walk from the train station does involve passing by several "exotic" shops and streetwalkers, but this is germany, and any hotel near to a railway station is going to involve an interesting walk.

The staff was wonderful! We arrived at the hotel around 10 am after a long bus ride and we were able to check in early.The room was better than we ever imagined. It was spacious and very clean. Close to the center of Hamburg and close to S and U- Bahn. Rather close to Lidl. Refridgerator and electric kettler in the room.
