This hotel is in line with other Marriott Hotels chain i have stayed world wide. Very large rooms tastefully furnished & comfortable beds. The rooms were air conditioned. The Breakfast spread was wow. I specifically like the concept of 'The Market' , which is a good replacement to the minibar. Friendly & helpful staff. -

ειναι τα δευτερα Χριστούγεννα που περναμε στο Holiday Inn Munich City Center . Αυτό πιστευω τα λεει όλα . Επιπλέον το προσωπικό είναι πολύ επαγγελματιες , ειδικα στην ρεσεψιον αλλα και στην καθαριοτητα δωματιου , πραγμα που εχει αλλη αξια οταν ταξιδευεις με μικρα παιδια. This is our second time staying at the Hotel an der Oper and we chose it again for its excellent location. The location is fabulous. You can walk to everything -- and we did! Most of the top sights of Munich are right nearby. The same is true of many of the best restaurants and shops. The staff was very helpful with reservations, including getting us excellent seats at a very popular performance of Rigoletto, which was right around the corner. They also selected and reserved a perfect restaurant for our first night in the city. Very nice!

The location of the hotel is excellent. Very easy walk to many sights and both U & S stations. Easy to get from airport, many good restaurants nearby.
Beds are very comfortable, room very clean, breakfast selection also very good.
Management cleared up a dispute over a broken light switch to our satisfaction. Front desk staff all very friendly and helpful.

Very good location to center and airport, only 10 minutes walking from the metro station.
We were very pleased with friendly, attentive and helpful staff.
The room is big and spaced, with a comfortable balcony that directs to a great park with squirrels. Very silent place to sleep.
The next time we'll go to Munich, we'll choose this hotel again.
