If you walk along the road under the railroad tracks it is about 5-10 minutes walk from hauptbahnhof. Italian restaurand, with good food for little money and friendly staff, next door made my kitchenett pontless, and i don't regret it. it's very close to many "must see" places. Really 5 minutes walk to Haupbanhoff (with heavy luggages add extra 10 minutes time), by taxi 1,5 minutes to drive. No screaming party drunks were heard in 5 days of my stay. suits very well for families.

  Excellent location, within walking distance of many places of interest. Stasi exhibition, Topography of Terror, Checkpoint Charlie, all in the immediate vicinity. Can walk to Brandenburg Gate/Unter Den Linden which we did with 2 young children and kids Grandmother. Stadmitte U Bahn also very close. Rooms on the small side but we literally were out all day and were only looking for a place to p - Clean, comfy beds, quiet location but only minutes away from fantastic Christamas market at Gendarme Market. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had, great choice. Healthy fruit and cereals to bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs. The hotel was also very clean and the staff were very friendly. the only thing was that we had to wait couple of times when we wanted to talk to the reception as there was a queue there. I recommend staying there :) - almost everything. nice people, nice and large room with lots of considerate elements, care about guest's special request. very good location, there is a big shoppingmall just around the corner. The hotel is in the center of city, but in a very very quiet environment. We enjoy our stay very much! A free bottle of water provided in the room.
