  We arrived well before check-in with the intention of only dropping our bags until the advertised check-in time.. The guy on the front desk could not have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating.. Nicely located in East Berlin, it's minutes away from Alexanderplatz, underground and some of the most famous Berlin monuments. Nothing to complain about here. Staff is superb. There's no breakfast at the hotel - my best advice here is to go to Alex restaurant (located in the bottom of the TV Tower), you can get buffet breakfast for 7 euros every day from 9 to 12.   Easy to walk to from the Berlin Hauptbahnhof (about 20 mins walk). The room was clean and uncluttered in an appealing minimalist style. I would typically stay in another hotel close by when visiting Berlin but I would make Karlito Apartments my regular place to stay from now on.   Booked a one bedroom with balcony as I like having outdoor space. Very large, fully equiped-even had a coffee maker! Took a tea towel as recommended by another review. Everything else supplied. Great location. Great for self-catering & superb location. Halal supermarket, bike hire & numerous eateries within 20 metres. Key pick up is at World of Beers shop as other reviewers stated(helpful i - The apartments arelocated just next to Kohstrasse metrostation. May be just 30 minutes walking to Branderburg gates so it is very convinient to live there if you wan to see Berlin yourself. We live on the first floor it is just absolutely perfect terrace with tje table outside the balcony door that must be absolutely perfect in May (we were in Nothember but anyway i appreciated it. 100% value for money
