Hotel is very clean and very well situated close to the center of the city and close to the metro. The staff was extremely professional and helpful. - Very good restaurant with enthusiastic people, hosts even. The hotel is very close to the Dom and was very very easy to reach by car.

We thought that the standard of cleanliness and service of Sofitel was excellent and the food in the restaurant and tapas bar was also of high quality. The best location in Cologne! The hotel is nearly brand new and i also love the breakfast! - This is a first class hotel with good facilities. The location is great, we had a view of the cathedral from our room window. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

We had a very clean, comfortable room overlooking the street on the first floor. The custom built furnishings were very nice, as was the walk in shower. Very comfortable bed. Liz from KL summed it up well. We had the top floor room which is split over two levels, and fro the top level we could see the Dom. Very convenient location, close to railway station and there is a suburban line almost right underneath the hotel now, so convenient to arrive into the city by train. Breakfast was outstanding, with local gourmet ingredients. Great staff. Quiet location too, set on a quiet back street just outside the central part of town. Highly recommend this place.

Overall this hotel was excellent in all aspects, I found the staff to be the best thing about the hotel. They were so friendly and helpful and really made us feel welcome. It was very clean, well-located and quiet. The close proximity of the city and the abundance of public transport were also very important. This is a great hotel to stay in for ease of visiting Koln and Bonn, yet only a very short distance away from the crowded tourist areas. - The relaxed friendly atmosphere , location is excellent

Hotel within walking distance of city centre. - The hotel was comfortable, we were made very welcome, the food was good especially breakfast where the choice was one of the best we have ever had. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a city centre hotel and we will use this hotel again.
