This is our second time staying at the Hotel an der Oper and we chose it again for its excellent location. It is located very near the Hofbrauhaus (and other eating & drinking places such as Augustiner and Hard Rock), which are all very easy to walk to. The location is fabulous. You can walk to everything -- and we did! Most of the top sights of Munich are right nearby. The same is true of many of the best restaurants and shops. The staff was very helpful with reservations, including getting us excellent seats at a very popular performance of Rigoletto, which was right around the corner. They also selected and reserved a perfect restaurant for our first night in the city. Very nice!

nice room with a little fridge, stove, microwave etc. They gave two bottle of water and two bottles of beer a day for free which is very rare in Europe. This was the best placed we stayed during our entire trip accross europe. - Great room, very nice hotel, very nice hotel staff

The apartment was good for 3 travelling together. 1 double bedroom
and a living / sleeping area with 2 bathrooms. It was
spacious, comfortable and within walking distance from Marienplatz
and Hauptbahnhof. Kitchen facilities were adequate (no sink plug)
with supermarket nearby. Washing machine, airer, iron and ironing
board supplied. -

Location was excellent, a few steps from the subway (U-Bahn) as well as many restaurants, bars, local shops, etc... we felt like locals in the apt. Marienplatz is also a few minutes walking. The manager allowed me to check in earlier than expected. Checking out was very easy as well. Close to the train station and easy walking distance to the old town center. -

We were traveling by train so having the main train station 10 minute walk away from the hotel was convenient. Also 10 to 15 minute walk to city center. Staff very helpful. - Excellent value for the money. Excellent location.

you can walk for the central train station and go anywhere....but you are in downtown and can visit almost everything by foot! nice coffees and markets at the next block. the one room apto is a reversable living/bedroom. Bed is ok, sheets too. Pillows are very thin.... Towels are slightly old... and small. You need to pay for cleaning the room (2

I am extremely positively impressed by the behavior of the entire staff who checked me in and checked me out of the hotel. Furthermore, the Hotel General Manager Mr. Kayhan Kilit handling with my requests and complaint was extremely impressive and more than satifactory. very friendly. There is a great garden with a "sandbox" and
toys for the kids. Very near to OstbahnHof from where you can reach
