  We visited Grassau in July 2013. We were very impressed by this cozy hotel, its location, fascinating view from our balcony, very tasty traditional coisine (incl. big variaty of dishes made of lake fish). The host was very friendly and helpful. Other staff as well.   The staff is wonderful and its kitchen is spectacular. Upon arriving at the hotel, be sure to reserve immediately a table for your evening meal, if you wish to eat on the terrace or at a particular inside table. Rooms are large and clean with lots of pine and the staff are very friendly. The restaurant was closed on the night we stayed there but breakfast was very good with freshly cooked eggs as you like.
