The hotel is about 100 m from the train station and bus stop. Close to the old town, a supermarket, shops and restaurants.

Parking nearby was convenient. Staff very friendly and the manager's English excellent so no worries there. Explained everything clearly on arrival so there was no need to contact him, although he said he is contactable 24 hours a day. We enjoyed the breakfast which filled us up for the days exploring. Great place in a great area. This lovely hotel lies on top of a hill
just in front of a beautiful lake from which is visible the famous
castle of Neuschwenstein. It's a silent and pleasant area and if you
are lucky to get a sunset, you can also get a lovely panoramic view from
the balcony and you can even have a walk along the lake which is just 1

Very nice breakfast and staff - they were very accomodating when our party ran into car trouble and got in very late to our hotel - beds were turned down and ready to be slept in! Location is good - very easy access to nice hiking and biking trails and the King's Castles - and we had a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony window.

Even if this hotel was about 5 KM from downtown Fussen it was really easy to get there and certainly worthed. Great location and very quiet. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. My wife and I are strongly recommending this hotel for travellers. - We think that it was the finest Hotel we have ever been! We could appreciate the REAL Bavari

New owner, Peter, very friendly and informed. Room was beautifully remodeled with fabulous view of Lake Hopfensee and mountains in background. Took dry sauna in lower level and other amenities are being developed for spa like experience there as well. A pleasant enough hotel, further from Fussen than we had realised (about 8km) but in a pleasant rural setting on the main (but not busy) road. There is a reasonable restaurant attached - when we arrived an had to go into the restaurant to check in everyone was staring at us! I like it very much. I spent 5 days in this hotel and it was really wonderfull time.

Absolutely lovely hotel. secure parking for our motorcycles right outside. rooms bright and clean, and well furnished. Really friendly owner and the selection of beers available were all local and well priced. Ideally situated with just a 5 minute walk into Fussen, a town well worth a visit.

upscale hotel: central and at that time quiet location, good breakfast served in luxury dining room, helpful staff, we all were satisfied and had a real relax by staing in this nice hotel - Staff was very accommadating. We called ahead to say we were getting in later than planned and the staff stayed until we arrived to check-in.

Onsite parking is in the back of the hotel. Our family room was large, very comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the town square and the mountains. The hotel has a bakery as a storefront and an excellent restaurant. Breakfast was very generous and excellent.
