pretty well perfect for a layover in frankfurt.
three stops in from the airport is the Hbf, where majority of the city's hotels are. It is also the Red Light District. Many reviews have issues with the area, but this doesnt reflect on the hotel to me. If you're in Frankfurt for more than a few nights, go further into the city or rent an apartment

About 100 meters from Frankfurt’s main station. Friendly staff. Super modern and clean rooms; the toilet especially with new elegant fittings. Hi-speed Wifi. Hot drink facilities even in the single rooms. Outside on the streets: prostitutes, drug dealers, mayhem. A suitable hotel for a blitz biz trip only.

My main criteria for hotels mainly are- room with a view and balcony preferred though this is not commonly found for city hotel, but this hotel does:)
Ideal for city trip cause its close from main town with literally 5mins drive to Frankfurt Main Train Station by cab. I had a double bed room for single occupancy, it was perfect size, comfy and bright. Shower and hot water works perfectly, weather was cold outside but seems hotel set temperature was perfect that I did not need to switch on the

It is so close to the airport, and we were given a nice, first floor room at the end of a hall, away from other guests. I have stayed here before and loved how close it was to the airport and the staff have always been very warm to welcome you to the hotel and assist with anything you may need. The shuttle service runs 24hrs and makes it nice for getting to the airport on time. I will use this hotel every time I am passing through Germany. - My stay was very comfort

My stay at meininger Hotel Frankfurt Main worked out flawlessly. For
the 39 euros, a clean, no frills stay was exactly what I wanted. I got
to the hotel using their free shuttle. As I have read other reviews
before, it can get full easily, but the driver handled it well: 2 of us
were instructed to get into another shuttle for another hotel that had
room, and it dropped us off near the hotel, and soon the other full
shuttle came behind with our bags. That is pretty good collaboration!
