We had a very clean, comfortable room overlooking the street on the first floor. The custom built furnishings were very nice, as was the walk in shower. Very comfortable bed. Liz from KL summed it up well. We had the top floor room which is split over two levels, and fro the top level we could see the Dom. Very convenient location, close to railway station and there is a suburban line almost right underneath the hotel now, so convenient to arrive into the city by train. Breakfast was outstanding, with local gourmet ingredients. Great staff. Quiet location too, set on a quiet back street just outside the central part of town. Highly recommend this place.

The room was elegantly finished and very comfortable, with a nice outlook and a quiet location at night. We could see Cologne cathedral through the window and hear church bells in the morning. A very practical apartment situated in a quiet neighborhood. No traffic passing through so very quiet. Parking by the front door. All the amenities of home, even a bathtub and balcony. 20min walk to the Dom and 15 min to Severinstrasse with nice shops & restaurants. Very friendly owner who explains a lot about Cologne when you arrive. -

The apartment is clean, well-equipped and a short distance from shops and U-bahn. If you're happy to walk, it's only 20 mins to the centre. Will hopefully be returning next year!

Hotel staff and particularly Mr. Frieben (Owner) were amazing in terms of giving very personal service. I found it like sitting in my home, excellent in terms of everything. I would definitely stay again as a loyal guest!
