It was very quiet and private. The room was very nice and the view was spectacular. The restaurant was great and reasonably priced. - A clean hotel with everything you need and no wasted money on unnecessary frills.

Good location. near the railway staton, and also next to a supermarket. The room was large, nice, well equiped, and with a balcony. The quality of the breakfast was good. Though the price was a little expensive, it's worth the value. -

Big fluffy pillows, warm pool, eco friendly, friendly owners serve breakfast, nice path from hotel up and around mountain into town. Decent price, i paid 212Euro for 3 nights. - The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the service was excellent. The breakfast was so good.

The location couldn't be bettered. Restaurants either direction, very close to bus stop, shopping area. If coming by train, would need a taxi or bus to get to the hotel as the town is on a hillside. The hotel is very quiet. We had the luxury of 2 rooms to ourselves. Reception was helpful. Loved the idea of having the laundrette next door. -

The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
We really loved this hotel and will stay again.

Very friendly and helpful staff, always in a good mood and making jokes.
Breakfast was simple but we could order as much as we wanted. Very cozy
and typical restaurant/stube. Walking distance from Berchtesgaden
and busconnections. Beautiful environment next to the river and close to

The location is great, just across the train/bus station, so you will be thankful that you don't need to drag luggage up to the hills where most of the other hotels locate. The price (80 euro for a double room one night) is OK considering the taxi fare up to the hills saved. The room is very clean, bed is nice, though the rooms in annex building do not have elevators and shower/restroom a bit small yet very clean. The breakfast buffet is good. I loved the fresh mint leaves they provided for

The owner was very nice and helpful. She gave us great directions and information booklets of the sites in the city (she also could speak English!!!). I would stay there again on a future trip!!!

Small and friendly guest house owned and run by Bridget, a local lady. Rooms were basic but very clean with an excellent breakfast provided in a small breakfast room. This guesthouse is excellent. Whatever it lacks is made up by the friendly and very hospitable Birgit Nagel who operates the guesthouse. We loved the atmosphere here. The breakfast room was cozy and Birgit mingled with all the guests to make sure everything was alright. The room was fine with huge windows. Also our free bus ticket was wonderful.

It is the cleanest youth hotel that i have lived. Very nice environment and even give you a card that you can use to take the bus for free. Nice staff. -

The view of Berchtesgaden from the balcony is spectacular. Everyone can enjoy the same view from the breakfast terrace (if their balcony faces a different way). Excellent breakfast buffet. - Location. Excellent view of Eagle's Nest. Easy access to town and Salzbergwerk.
