Very nice clean hotel, with great amenities. The bed was wonderful, the best in our 5 city / 5 hotel trip. I liked that it was a little apartment with a seperate kitchen andentanceway. It was more like a minature home. I liked that I mentionedwhen I came for the key that I wanted a cab at 4:30 in the morning andit was there the next day right on time. - Very quiet hotel with room facing courtyard; access to basic cooking facilities; very pleasant reside

Great price and free parking, within a stone's throw of Tegel
airport. This turned out to be a fantastic place to spend my last night
in Europe, as it was also very close to a U-bahn station with speedy
access to Friedrichstraße. The staff were supremely helpful and

affordable. -
Staff were superb, room was large and well furnished, as well as very
clean. For my purposes, the location (just a block from an U-bahn
station & an under 12-Euro taxi ride from Tegel) was perfect. Others
may wish to be closer in, but with the fabulous reach and convenience of
the Berlin transit system, Hotel de France is situated just fine. The
on-site restaurant / bar is a nice bonus.

So easy to get to tegel airport. Woman at counter was very nice. Accommodation was ideal for what I needed: place to crash on overnight layover. Clean single room (note that bathroom was shared with neighboring room, but there's a lock on it) with ample outlets and a small table with chair. I left a half hour before breakfast was supposed to start,

Upon our arrival, the staff checked us in and immediately began giving
us the rundown of where to go and how to get there. They gave us a
detailed map and explained the subway system. They were very helpful and
it was very comforting in a foreign country! They even switched rooms
for us when the room we were in was a bit to loud for us due to

It's just 20 min to Tegel airport. But still very close to the city center. There are couple of supermarket (like LIDL etc.) in 7 min from the hostel. Also they have double rooms in so called hotel so you don't have to live in 6-8 person room.

Hotel is nice and the apartments were very nice and cozy. Staff spoke perfect English and the breakfast exceeded expectations. Good value for money bearing in mind that it is Berlin. -

We were only there for 6 hours- arrived late and had an early flight to catch the next day, so just needed a place to crash for the night. The place was clean and quiet though, and the staff were very helpful. - Staff was amazing. Bike rental is cheap. Breakfast is pretty decent for 5 euros. Close to the airport so if your baggage is lost (like

Beer, happy hour, nice kitchen if you want to cook your own food.

1, This is a new hotel in a nice residential area only three subway
stops from the zoo station. The subway stop is a block away.
2. Several good restaurants in the immediate area.
3. Excellent buffet breakfast, albeit at 18 Euros a pop.
4. Everything very clean. -
