Hostellerie Le Beffroi sits in the heart of the medieval town of Vaison-la-Romaine, and is composed of 2 mansions of the 16th and 17th centuries. You can enjoy a view of the city from the outdoor swimming pool. All of the rooms are individually decorated and equipped with a bath or shower, minibar, TV and Free Wi-Fi internet access. They are also furnished with antique furniture and many rooms have a view of the city. Regional cuisine is served at La Fontaine, which is open from Easter to late October. Les Terrasses is open during the summer months and offers a variety of wines and salads.

Beautiful building in the medeival town of Vaison-la-Romaine. There is a great pool you have access to as a hotel guest; I recommend taking advantage of it. The breakfast in the garden was very nice. The evening hotel staff when I arrived was particularly nice and helpful. Very nice medieval location and views. Friendly staff, especially the helpful young lady during weekends. If driving through stone paved extremely narrow allys is not your "cup-of-cake" then there is a convinient public parking just outside the village.

A lovely old building right next to the town belltower (Beffroi). The bells don't work so it's quiet. Beautiful views over Vaison, an excellent base for exploring. Excellent meals in the restaurant. We loved the setting and the view.It was fun being in the older part of the town. The staff was gracious and it was unique being in such an old building. A lovely historic hotel in a charming medieval hilltop village with a good restaurant. For the agile afoot and the careful driver it's a winner!. The location with its beautiful views. It's a cool place that is fun to explore and very restful. You can immense yourself in a medieval setting and yet enjoy some of the modern comfort. Swimming pool is gorgeous and has a great view of city. The hotel is an attraction itself. Staff very friendly for the most part; in medieval part of town but short walk to bridge - overall okay. The location, history and experience was amazing. I would not park in the hotel's parking area because it requires driving through the "ruelleas" of the old town, i.e. very narrow streets. I parked in the free parking area at the bottom of the hill and found that easy since there was an easy path up without any stairs, so not a problem with luggage. Beautiful room was on the third floor with no elevator. It was worth the walk, but might not be for someone with difficulties with stairs, or a lot of luggage. Because of the time of year, restaurant (and pool) were not available. The drive in the rental was scary to get to the car park, but that couldn't be helped. Difficult to negotiate the spiral stairs to rooms - with or without luggage. Auto access is difficult through the extremely narrow midieval streets. Parking limited!. Walk on ancient cobblestone streets when it rains. One of the rooms we have need some TLC. The carpet looks dirty and old. The internet signal is only at the door step. This room feels a bit like a dungeon. The other room is in much better shape with nicer furniture. Just was not exceptional - breakfast just okay for the price; parking by hotel but we chose to park farther away as street narrow; would not return though I liked the pottery they had for sale!. Parking Uncomfortable beds.
