- The hotel is excellent value for money for those on a tight budget. - It was in good walking distance to the town centre - Carrefour supermarket is approximately 25 minutes walking distance from the hotel for those who would rather buy supermarket food than eat out at restaurants - The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived very early from a ferry and they let us leave our bags and put them in our room for us. The room was very comfortable and quiet. There is a grocery store within a 15 minute walk; while it is not necessarily close to the city center, you can walk or take a bus.
όλα τα σχόλια » This hotel was close to St. Mali port and easy to find. There was adequate parking in the road yards away with a bench and some green - ideal. It was my partners birthday and when I mentioned it to the hotelier he promptly brought over a token gift. Close to the town centre with easy access to parking. Very friendly owners who let you get on with your stay with no pressures. Great with children. Excellent breakfast at very reasonable price. Very Friendly owner and staff - could not do enough for my needs would recommend staying here if you are on a budget - very clean and tidy - very close to the ferry port and of course the city. Great hotel, welcoming staff, great food, excellent prices. Perfect for our stop over in St Malo before our ferry crossing. I would highly recommend. Staff was nice. Nothing that I didn't like about the hotel. It is a budget hotel so it worked really well for me and I would stay there again. The hotel didn't stay open in the evening, was more of a cafe. This was not a big problem as it was mainly used as a base and starting point for our trip. Bar closed very early, but then again, so did many others. Nothing. The bed was a bit uncomfortable. It was a bit out of the best part of town. I had to walk a bit. Maybe as bit far out from citadel for older folk but was a nice 20 minute walk away from tourists. A little bit out of town although there are quite a few bus stops. Do not eat in the restaurant. The food is rather mediocre and zero atmosphere. The owners are highly inflexible as they refused to serve us out on the terrace on a hot sunny day!!. Nothing negative to say. The beds are a bit too soft. Breakfast was expensive. Toilet on landing VERY small. Was a little way out from the centre of the the town which would be awkward if you were travelling on foot. Wifi was not availble... The common toilet is ridiculously small (while the shower room is fine). The shared toilet was far too small. I'm 5' 11" - and my knees were against the door. The Hotel Bar and Restaurant did not open on a Sunday, try finding a restaurant that is open.
