Set in the countryside of Courcelles, 2 km from the medieval market town of Saint-Jean-d'Angély, this guesthouse offers a heated outdoor swimming pool and rooms with private entrances in a former bread oven house. Guests are free to relax on the sun terrace. Guest rooms at Le Four à Pain are elegantly decorated and feature original stone walls and wooden beams. We Loved the whole stay from start to finish. Mr & Mrs Muddiman were so welcoming and the breakfasts were superb. The rooms were bigger than we expected with lovely comfortable beds and décor. Enjoyed having a swimming pool near the rooms. Definitely be back next year. Grant and Karen are brilliant hosts. We felt really looked after and they were very welcoming and flexible. The site is well placed, close to a village with some nice restaurants and not far from the coast. We look forward to visit them again.
