  We were the only guests and on arrival food and drink was prepared for us in the gardens at a very reasonable additional charge. Breakfast was included in the price and included home-made jams and produce from the gardens which was great. The room was splendid - very large with a very comfortable huge bed.   Friendly host who lent us a map and recommended a local cycle route for us. Breakfast around large dining table was varied and gave chance to meet other guests. - Quaint yet comfortable with many special touches to make our stay very special. Loved the country-like feel.   Jean-Richard gave me a very warm welcome. He and Pierre (Aurelie was absent due to an accident) were absolutely friendly to their guests, although there were some problems (central heating did not work) and a lot of work (harvesting time!). The appartment was nicely fitted and spacious. The breakfast was the best I've ever had in France.
