  We liked the rooms which we assumed were conversions from what were originally chateau stables. The furnishing was comfortable and refreshingly different from that found in chain hotels. We liked the spacious bathroom with bath and shower. We liked the quiet of the garden and the proximity to Richelieu and Chinon. Altogether excellent. - The location and layout is lovely and the rooms we saw were extremely spacious and well laid out for families. Our hosts were friendly, welcoming, flexible and thoughtful (special breakfast with pancakes prepared for the kids). The breakfast was perfect. The nearby castle - Chateau de Rivau - is well worth a visit. We had a great time.
