Beautiful "guest house".They prefer to be called that instead of a hotel. The service is excellent, the manor is tastefully updated with original artwork both inside and in the lovely garden area. The rooms are very large and so is the bathroom. I could stretch my arms out to the sides in the shower it was so large. I would definitely recommend this guest house to anyone staying in this vibrant city.

This was a delightful B&B. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was enormous. The bathroom was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have stayed in, with a large bath in which to luxuriate. We also enjoyed the town. Very relaxed and with many dining options to choose from. An ideal place as a base to explore the Loire Valley and it's many Chateaus. Our host Sylvie was a delight. The women conscierges were wonderful, allowing us to relax in France andpractice our flawed French. We were able to picnic poolside after hours,just relax in a beautiful house. We had many requests for extra towels,ashtray for cigars, directions, etc, and each was met with a smile. Wewould love to return. We also traveled with a 13 yr old daughter,

Ambroise is a lovely town and is a great place to stay and take day trips to the area's many chateaux, and the chateaux at Amboise itself is lovely. If I were to go back again, I'd want to stay again at Le Manois Saint Thomas. I recommend it highly!

We loved the ambience and the tranquility, this is not a cheap hotel, but it was special. The staff were very attentive, the dinner was fantastic. The food was well prepared and the quality was excellent.

Great budget family run hotel with fabulous gourmet restaurant.Good location within walking distance to the center of Amboise. We loved the marvellous staff who were fun and very helpful. The hotel was attractive and stylishly decorated and the room was charming. There is a delightful garden area and the meals at the restaurant were exceptional as was obvious from the locals who also were dining there. We had such a good time and would love to go back.

The hotel is modern, well furnished and clean.
The concierge is really nice and speaks really good English (which in France is a really big one!). He was also pretty helpful and froze our cooling packs for us and everything.
The room was perfect for two persons and the bath was big, bright and clean.

As always this hotel provided exactly what was required for an overnight between England and the South West of France. Friendly reception, clean comfortable rooms and breakfast. The restaurant over the road where evening meals are available is under new management.

I really enjoyed my time in Amboise. To some extent that was due to the quality of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The position of the hotel was great and allowed us to explore Amboise on foot with great access to restaurants and shops. I also enjoyed the garden at the hotel and the feeling of openess that it gave you. - It was clean,
