We were greeted by Charles the owner on our arrival - and a very warm welcome indeed. The hotel is wonderful, the food fabulous and the location utterly exquisite - such a quiet peaceful location. Nothing at all was aproblem - the staff were wonderful. -

A very helpful and friendly host assisted by two helpful four legged friends, Pluto the St Bernard and his sidekick Louis. We took our mini wire and he was treated as a part of the family and got on really well with Pluto. Our room on the ground floor was spacious and equipped with Suzettes antiques making the stay feel opulent and tasteful. Break

We had a relaxing two night stay at Petit Manoir Meysset in November.
Our host, Suzette, spoke French and our home language (Aussie) which
meant we had plenty to discuss. We received an upgrade to a beautiful,
big room that was very well appointed. Breakfast, which costs extra but
is well worth the €7 each, was delicious and filling. The Dordogne
region is amazing! It requires a much longer visit than we could manage.

We were given a warm welcome on our arrival at Au Nid des Thes. The hotel is situated on a pedestrian street in the small town and has easy access to shops and restaurants. There is no special carpark but parking can be found easily nearby. We were in the "Caramel" room on the second floor. We had a very comfortable night in this spacious room wit

The location in the centre of Brantome meant easy access to the wonderful canals, abbeye, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was a simple but very well done Continental with homemade preserves. Sandrine was very helpful and the room was large, well equipped and very clean. Excellent all round and we would stay there again.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful and accomodatingespecially in relation to the children - Beautiful location. Contrary to other reviews on this site, the staff was extremely friendly and pleasant to us. We were ready for an ogre and were received graciously.

A superb hotel in a very quiet location, where the owners and staff are very friendly and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night and we intend to go back next year. -

Our favorite hotel while we were in France. The room was warm, but there were fans available, which helped to greatly cool down the room. Very charming and the location was perfectly located between where we were headed, Lascaux II and the rest of the beautiful village. Loved our stay here, would have liked to stay longer!! -

The hotel was of a very good standard and couldn't fault it. 5 minutes walk into Sarlat. Plenty off road parking. Everything I requested about the bedroom, I automatically got. Didn't have breakfast their but the Dining Room looked very nice. I do think 12 Euros is quite alot for breakfast but is the same price in all the hotels we stayed at.

The accommodation is beautifully presented , decor lovely , very comfortable and cozy . The restaurant is excellent and we enjoyed a real great meal . The owners treat this property like a jewel. The rooms are modern,
clean, comfortable, and well laid out. Their consideration is reflected
in little things: a warm greeting, lovely breakfast with homemade jams,
local butter, farm yogurt, and local 'pain'. Upon our departure,
the husband/chef came out to our car to bid us farewell. 'See
you again' is more like it.

The evening meals we had on the half board meals menu were very good.
