Our room, Amarylis, was beautiful with wonderful views of the sea. Extremely clean. Eric was an excellent host. Breakfast, including homemade yoghurt was delicious. -
What a lovely house, full of character with a beautiful stone staircase to rooms. Eric was a great host and the breakfast was plentiful.

Charming and helpful hosts. Very comfortable room in lovely family house - very quiet too. Location excellent as within walking distance of centre and restaurants, and not far from the hospital where we had an appointment early the next morning. Parking was easy and nearby - essential as we had our dog with us! We look forward to another visit

La Maison de la Garenne is perfectly situated for a visit to Vannes, being within easy walking distance of both the old town and port itself. The hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating, with the hotel itself bursting with character and charm.

Veronique, the host, was absolutely fantastic, helping to make our say as relaxed and easy as possible. She even called us on our way to ensure we hadn't got lost (which we had), so she drove out to meet us to show us the way. Nice bottles of wine to drink in the room and a wonderful hammock to relax in under the trees. Would highly recommend.

The morning breakf -
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is basic and small, but is spotless, cozy, and very well appointed. The delicious continental breakfast, and a warm visit with Jane and Paul set a good start for the day.
Jane is wonderful. Right from the start, she contacted us with a welcome email, and was always available with tons of tips on locality, restaurants, etc. Her orientation on Le Mont Saint Michel is excellent. I have already planned to come back and will have no hesitation recommend

We work and travel in Brittany and we stayed here during a 5 day break, after staying in average and below average hotels, this place was a pure delight and we will be back regularly.
The owner takes great pride in what she does......looking afer her guests....and she does it very well.

Forget Motels and automatic -
Totally agree with the other reviews: it's lovely to meet Jacqui and we found a very warm welcome. The home is super comfortable and clean and the breakfasts were very tasty! Not far from Pordic town centre or the beach going the other way. We were on a cycle tour coming from Perros Guirec back to the ferry at St Malo, and it really is the perfect cyclists' stop along the way. All the very best to Jacqui and very happy to recommend staying there - we'd love to find an excuse to stay with Jacqu

Location is great right in the historic centre of Dinan giving direct access to restaurants and shops.
Secure parking facility provided with the daily rate which is literally just around the corner.
Jerome is a great host with very high standards.
The house has been beautifully renovated and there is a small, private garden for guests to chill out in after a hard day's sightseeing.
Would recommend as a very comfortable and hospitable base to explore the Dinan area of Brittany from.
