  I did not expect much from this hotel when I booked as I just needed a place close to Gare de L'est and Gare du Nord so that would be convenient for me to catch the trains to Strasbourg and Antwerp.   Wow, what a hotel! The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Thehotel, including the garden, was very clean and tidy. Nice and quiettoo, no noise. The receptionists were especially obliging and well-mannered.
