  I did not expect much from this hotel when I booked as I just needed a place close to Gare de L'est and Gare du Nord so that would be convenient for me to catch the trains to Strasbourg and Antwerp.   Staff were excellent. Hotel had a great location as well. Fridge didn't work in our room, however on the second night, they upgraded us to a premium room - with a working fridge.
