Perhaps the prettiest hotel we stayed at in a month of travelling through France. The hostess was very welcoming, the room beautifully decorated, and the hotel is in a very old historical building right on the riverfront. There was a lovely garden outside for evening aperitifs, and the breakfast was the best we had in a month. Lovely situation on the banks of the Seine.. step outside the garden and watch the barges go by. Bedroom was not huge but interestingly furnished and a lovely view up to the chateau perched on the cliff. Amazing breakfast, probably the best we have ever had in France. So much choice! Easy to find a parking space just outside.

We've stayed there (as Hotel de Normandie) many times and were delighted to find it renewed as the lovely Villa Alienor. The situation is perfect - a stroll along the river has always been pure joy. Superb breakfast! And it is a perfect distance from Dieppe for a first or night stay. Loved the garden and having breakfast overlooking the river. Lovely village, picturesque. Night market of about 10 stalls on a sat night was a great bonus. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dogs welcome. Everything was fantastic - beautiful location, lovely room, amazing breakfast and the charcuterie and cheese meal in the evening far exceeded our expectations. Courtyard, overall room, bathroom and best breakfast of any of the 5 B&B's that we stayed. Plus great price particularly considering the in town location. Fantastic location opposite the river Seine. From our room was a view of the castle. Exceptionally good breakfast with everything one could wish for and more. We were completely surprised by the lovely village and the breath taking views of the castle. The hotel staff was gracious and the breakfast was terrific. This was a beautiful hotel in a beautful setting. A really lovel french experience with extra facilities. Very very nice. Lovely location overlooking the river. Nothing whatsoever!. Nothing!. - several rooms have view of the castle. Between the castle and the house there is a busy road, which means that several rooms, together with the views, after 7 AM get the road noise too (during the night it is OK). However, this was the only negative aspect of this friendly and otherwise very comfortable place. Nothing, only wished we could have stayed another night. Upstairs. The open top to the bathroom area of the ensuite. Not very private. Wi fi was very weak in our room and our connection constantly dropped out. coffee from a machine at breakfast. Leaving. Nothing!. nothing. The pillows.
