The 'normal room rate' would greatly change my review, but when there are rooms available for around 40 euros a night, the value, location and quality is second to none.   We LOVED the reception rooms, smell of sandalwood and warm welcome upon entering the hotel. The sitting room with fireplace, and dining room are just lovely.   Great place to stay staff really friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful room but no view which didnt matter to us as we were sightseeing most of the time. Bed was really comfortable.   My sister and I stayed here our last night in Paris. We were initially going to stay at a cheap hotel at the airport but decided to splurge and get a place near the Eiffel Tower. It was slightly annoying that we were woken at 9am each day, by a drill being used upstairs and had not hot water on one day - but to be fair we knew all of this in advance so did not complain.   Good location just off Champ Elsyees, excellent helpful friendly staff, lovely room. - Near to the champs elysee ( 5 min. Walking), staff are nice and helpfull( we came early from the airport but we did not find any problemchecking in to the room).
