The hotel is newly refurbished, with modern/design furniture. The
room isn't wide but fair for the Paris downtown area (old historical
buildings). Very clean and full of free of charge amenities like
minimal, WiFi, films and internet on tv. The best was the wonderful

The staff were really excellent - incredibly friendly and approachable,
and helpful in every way. Really lovely people who were doing their best
to help and make sure you had the most comfortable stay. Cannot
recommend them enough. The hotel itself is a little on the small side,
but the location is excellent and close to Metro, sightseeing, shopping,
etc. Minibar (non-alcoholic) was also included in the room cost. I hope
I get to return there some day, I really enjoyed myself.

Η τοποθέτησή του στην πόλη - The silence and the lack of fuss.The quality of the hotel. My room was number 15 which looked onto a small courtyard.I would recommend this room for a single traveler. οτι ηταν διαμερισμα και οχι δωματιο - A super place to stay if you like Bastille and Marais. And the appartment was perfect for my daughter and I. We have used this hotel 6 times! And the staff is very helpful - Very clean, homelike room with kitchen facilities, close to the metro station and to all attractions in Marais area. Would come again.

The hotel was in a great central location. It was a short walk to Notre
Dame (I have a slight walking disability) but could handle the walk. The
bus stop is directly across the street from the hotel and ATM's are
next door or across the street. It was such a short walk to the Seine.
The restaurants and shops were right there as you left the hotel!

Very clean and comfortable hotel. We felt our room and bathroom were
quite spacious for an attic room in Paris. The price we paid was very
competitive. We were at the back of the hotel and it was quiet at night.

The place where the hotel is situated, the contemporary look - compare to other Parisian hotels it is new, however it is "Ikea" new, do not think it is a design hotel...It is convenient if you are staying for couple of days, not the kind of hotel where you can have the ultimate Parisian experience though...

Hotel Du Vieux Saule is located in an excellent area in Paris. The hotel and staff were fabulous. In this price range it is better than i expected. - Good location, friendly staff.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic - it was renowated a year ago and now looks totally different - the interior is fresh, modern and full od fashionable design motives. In the comfort room there was a change of towels each day, hairdrier in the closet and free of charge safe. Location is perfect, next to Oberkampf metro station, and also near to the second one. The personel were cleaning and changing the towels and bedclothes every day. Location was great. Only a short walk to the Gare de Lyon in Paris, which we needed to use most days. Maybe not the best area in Paris to stay, but an easy Metro ride to any other places you may wish to visit.

Good location, close to Gare de Lyon. Basic room but clean. The guy on the front desk was excellent, when I arrived at 11pm off the TGV and then left for the airport at 5am the next nothing, he was on the same shift yet was very friendly and helpful.

Η θέση του - We thought it was really good value The position was excellent for access to centre. Breakfast exceptional, staff friendly and helpful. Room pristine and comfortable. - It was very close to the Gare De Lyon station. The staff over there were very friendlly and helpful.
