Staff were very helpful, friendly. Room was clean and decoration was excellent. The pool and the fitness areas were a surprise regarding its location in downtown Paris - Very comfortable accommodation with tea and coffee facility. Rooms fresh and clean. Friendly and attentive reception staff, ideal location and extremely good value.

There is a Metro station on the corner for easy access to all of the city, and there is a bus stop for Charles de Gaulle Airport there as well. There is a wonderful patisserie around the corner and numerous restaurants and sandwich shops within walking distance.

Food at brasserie plain, large portions, good service. Highly recommend and intend to stay again when heading off on the TGV South.

I chose this hotel for reasons of cost (it was on special offer); location (near to the Gare de Lyon, but in a fairly quiet side street); ratings and comments from previous customers. Location was great. Only a short walk to the Gare de Lyon in Paris, which we needed to use most days. Maybe not the best area in Paris to stay, but an easy Metro ride to any other places you may wish to visit.

Good location, close to Gare de Lyon. Basic room but clean. The guy on the front desk was excellent, when I arrived at 11pm off the TGV and then left for the airport at 5am the next nothing, he was on the same shift yet was very friendly and helpful.
