  The location of the hotel was superb and very easy for those travelling by train from Charles De Gaulle airport as we got to St. Michel and just across the road was Rue De La Huchence and our hotel. Contrary to expectations it was very quiet at night and the restaurant was an added bonus in the evening. The area around the hotel was car free with lots of interesting little shops and the nearness to Notr - The area this hotel is in excellent, and close to the metro (1 minute away). The staff are pleasant to deal with and very helpful. The rooms could use some updating, the furnishings were older but the beds were in good condition and clean. The bathrooms had the most upgrading, but our shower in the twin room was missing a hook for the shower head so we had to tie the shower head to the pipe in order to have a hands-free shower. The water pressure was good. The free use of computer in the lobby

  The staff was amazing! Totally friendly and accomodating (although we didn't get the free welcome drink everyone talks about). The room was small, but we weren't in Paris to stay in a hotel.   After reading reviews about the neighborhood I was actually a little scared to stay here. However, we had no problem. The area is just outside of Paris and 15 min walk to the metro and a 20 min ride in. I have stayed in Paris multiple times and have stayed in the city. This hotel was far better than any hotel I stayed in, in the city. It is clean ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » and has good security. You can't beat the price either. In the city you pay 2 to 3 times as much for horrible accomodations. I would recommend this ho - Good value. Area is not too bad, but we caught a taxi from the tube station in the evening as we weren't too sure where to go. But at 6:30am the next morning we walked it bk to the tube. Area can be intimidating. As always you need to be aware of your surroundings
