Fantastic location within easy walking distance to the Pompidou, Louvre, Notre Dame and all the restaurants and bars in the Latin Quarter. I was on my own, going out every night and felt perfectly safe walking the streets back late. The hotel is surrounded by cafes and bars perfect for breakfast or dinner if you werent up for straying too far after a full day of exploring the city. The staff were lovely even the poor night staff who had to come down from reception late every night to let me in.

When I found Hotel Bellan in one of the areas he suggested, it seemed like a perfect fit. The price sounded good, the photos looked nice, and the reviews were pretty good. The location of the hotel was superb and very easy for those travelling
by train from Charles De Gaulle airport as we got to St. Michel and just
across the road was Rue De La Huchence and our hotel. Contrary to
expectations it was very quiet at night and the restaurant was an added

The area this hotel is in excellent, and close to the metro (1 minute away). The staff are pleasant to deal with and very helpful. The rooms could use some updating, the furnishings were older but the beds were in good condition and clean. The bathrooms had the most upgrading, but our shower in the twin room was missing a hook for the shower head so we had to tie the shower head to the pipe in order to have a hands-free shower. Very welcoming and willing to accommodate a group of 14 high school students and two teachers. We arrived late morning and we were able to leave our cases in our rooms even though they had not been completely prepared at that time. The beds were very comfortable with crisp white linens.

This hotel gives you exactly what you pay for. If you want to spend a lot of your holiday in your hotel room, I would not recommend it. However, if it is a place to rest your head on a budget, then it is perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful and are happy to communicate in English.
