The place was really beautiful. Friendly staff, excellent beds! The food in the hotel restaurant was really good!. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the restaurant serves excellent food.beautiful gardens; nice accommodations. The peace and quiet.Excellent peaceful grounds and friendly, helpful owners who provided very useful local information during our stay. Has a very good quality, musak free restaurant which served excellent food overlooking a small area of water. Well lacerd for an intersting drive to Troyes which has impressive cathedral and chiurches and many old 16th century timbered buildings. We would be happy to visit again. όλα τα σχόλια »
The dinner was incredible. A really beautiful situation, if peace and quiet is what you want. The restaurant had the best menu we had been seen in our travels, for the price, and the food did not disappoint. Clean room , good food and friendly staff.Helpfulness of staff and location. The beautiful setting.Lovely restaurant. Very convenient location, easy to find. Picturesque setting. GREAT food, both evening meal (highly recommend) and breakfast.beautiful area, ideal for visiting the champagne region. Location, garden, friendly staff. Location especially the nearby town of Chalons on Champagne. Ambience. Excellent evening meal, especially for the price. familiar atmosphere. the great garden!. We used this hotel as a stop-off on the way back to Calais from the south. It's a pleasant hotel with attractive gardens. It has a bar and restaurant. Thre's a free on site car park which is locked for security at night. Friendly staff, nice grounds. Quiet location except for small waterfall (but was very attractive),excellent restaurant including child's menu. Food was very nice in the restaurant, as was the service and advice as to what champagne was best for us.Was value for money...but nothing out of the ordinary.Nothing. It was the low point of our trip. all the other hotels had something to recommend them....this had nothing. No air conditioning.Needed to warned about mosquitos that came out in force on an evening. Room a bit small for a longer stay, but fine for overnight/weekend. small rooms and no night porter. There is a restaurant and bar at the hotel, but for an alternative it is necessary to drive to a local town.We stayed in the adjoining pavillion, and the room was terribly small, and smelled of damp, as no heating was put on till we arrived.the bathroom was dark and we chose not to shower but to leave as early as possible next day..so draw your own conclusions as to why.No choice of English TV at all.Maybe the Pavillion was a bad choice for us and the rooms in the hotel were better?. The room was very basic, the furniture old and battered. the bathroom was dark and the sink leaked. It boasted an outside terrace to the pavilion rooms...this was a few paving slabs outside the french doors.
