We loved this Logis Hotel. Delightful room with adjacent sitting room overlooking the square and Chartres Cathedral. We dined here every night, the food was so good and beautifully presented. Staff most helpful and Chartres a glorious French city with many building of architectural and historical interest. The staff were exceptionally helpful and the location was superbly central. The restaurant provided us with a delicious gourmet meal when we arrived. A wonderful break in a long drive south.

When we asked at the desk, even trying our limited French it took some work and convincing to get them. Very strange to not have any amenities. Small lift. Rooms a bit small - but that's France. shower room on the small side. Couldn't get a hot drink after reception closed, didn't see anything in the room like a mini bar or anything. Only stayed one night so maybe missed it. Somewhat tired in an old building With a tiny lift. Very tiny bathroom, but manageable. Disappointing lack of soap and glasses in bathroom. Bathroom door didn't shut properly - the lift door was very noisy and made sleeping difficult - breakfast was not value for money - no breakfast cereal. Poor Breakfast. Dosen't fit 3 star hotel service. The elevator is for only 2 thin visitots (with out the luggage).
