The location was excellent for visiting the medieval city. It is a
beautiful house which has been carefully and tastefully restored. The
owner (Bernard) was extremely friendly and helpful and recommended
several good restaurants for us as well as giving us directions. The
breakfast was very good and our apartment was superb with French windows
leading onto the well maintained garden. Rooms were spacious and very
clean. Although this accommodation is on a busy road, we found that we
were unaware

everywhere you look. Gwendoline and Philipe are fastidious and generous;

We had amazing time at B&B Dochavert. Location is perfect, only 10-minute walk to the old city and restaurants.
This is a very beautiful B&B, hosts are the nicest people. They met us with champagne and snacks. Gweni was very helpful, she recommended few great restaurants in Carcassonne along with other beautiful places to visit while we were in Languedoc.
The property is gorgeous with beautiful views of the castle and countryside. We had great breakfast with the most marvelous variety

Superb location and accommodation, the home made cakes for breakfast, plenty of advice given on what to see locally, flexibility and friendliness on booking in later than we'd planned, the free car parking very close by, we all had a lovely stay. Nice little B&B really close to the old city of Carcassonne and about a 10 minute walk over the bridge into the new town. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Room was clean, well decorated and larger than expected. Owners very friendly too.

We had the benefit of the ground floor room which has a door into the
small courtyard garden which was perfect for a quiet glass of wine after

Excellent chambre d'hôte in the centre of La Cité Médievale de Carcassonne, a few steps from the ancient Basilica of St Nazaire and the old walls and gateways. Lovely spacious room with excellent, much needed air conditioning - the temperature during the day in the cité was mid-30s. From the welcoming smile from Myriam on our arrival to the last spoonful of home made jams at breakfast on the morning of our departure, our stay can only be described as wonderful. This small private guest house was very comfortable and well placed a short stroll from the main attractions. The on street parking was ok as it's on a quiet side street. Myriam served us an excellent breakfast in the garden.
The guest's roof terrace offers great views across to the old Cite. There are hundreds of places to eat in the evening we found the Jardin d'ete excellent, great pizzas and a good ambiance within a walled garden just below the Cite walls

Great guest house run by the fabulous Simone, Who spared no effort in making sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay even waking early to prepare breakfast for us before our early train even though breakfast was not officially served until later.

This place is a box of delights wrapped in a plain paper wrapper. Driving down the street its easy to miss the sign over the door but when you ring the bell the double carriage doors open to reveal a real gem of period property with Simone, the smiling owner, pointing us to our secure parking spot. The rooms are individually styled to suit the centuries old building, but with comfortable beds, some of them four poster.

The hotel room is big. The design of the room is simple and natural.
We can take bath and shower in the room which is very comfortable as we feel tired after whole day trip.
The buffet breakfast is very good and full of choices which is so superise. We like it so much as it gives us a good start of the day.

We loved the gardens and swimming pool area. Also the owners were so friendly and helpful! they learned we were leaving early the next morning before breakfast was due to be served, instantly offered to make us a tray so that we would have something in the morning and had a taxi booked for us as well! so nice and friendly! really helpful too with

La Villa B&B was wonderful. Madame Flo and Jean-Michel were very helpful and friendly. Patient with my attempt at the French language, but conversed well with my partner who's French is far better than mine. We stayed in two different room and both were spotlessly clean and tidy, with a lot of thought going in to the decor and design. fabulous breakfasts!

I love being in the medieval city and staying in sort of medieval dwelling though it has all comfort you can expect from the building like this. It's like being back to Middle Ages but with modern time features such as bathroom. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy breakfast (had to leave early), but ther are no doubts that eating breakfast in the small courtyard add something to overall experience. Although difficult to find (satnav is your friend here) it gave very easy access down the back roads to Le Cite.

Staying at Roland's place because it was so welcoming and the surroundings so pleasant We were encouraged to feel very much at home and one day Roland made us afternoon tea, and as usual presented us with a lovely box of every kind of tea that we could want. The staff was very kindly. They were just like a mam and dad. Everything
we asked, they do it. The make warm in the microwave our food we bought
in the supermarket. The bed and breakfast was very beautiful and
romantic. The swimming pool was very clean and we could use it when we
want. On two minutes walk, there is a bus who is going to the center for
only 1 euro. We would recommend this bed and breakfast on everyone!
