The hotel was in an excellent and beautiful location, literally at the bottom of the hill at the entrance to the castle. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and they all spoke great English. Excellent value at the Hotel Montmorency but great bonus to be able to use the facilities of the Hotel Du Chateau. Very clean, modern hotel - room a little small and a slightly strange shape but suited our purposes. Nice to have a pool. Staff quiet but helpful when asked. The best thing was the location - just a few minutes walk from the wonderful medieval city complex. -

The hotel was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were nice, clean and looked new. The hotel is a bit outside the city, but excellent location if you have a car as it is next to a large shopping center and a short drive to the historic Carcassonne. It was more like a U.S. motel than any of the 20+ hotels where we have
stayed in Spain and France. Because we were traveling by car, this was
wonderful! It was an easy drive from the hotel to La Cité and the
castle. If you are not driving to Cascassonne, this is not where you
want to stay. The hotel is new and spacious.

Visited in May by car. The reception staff was genuinely warm and helpful. Request a room with a view of Carcassonne. At night the fortress is bathed in soft light. Ignore the parking lot of the empty mall below and focus instead on the sunset to the right of the chateau. On our May night, the sky became more glorious every 10 minutes for a good

wanted something that wasn't like every other hotel chain. Quirky
and very different from your chain hotels. Our room was quite big for a

The staff were without fail helpful, friendly and cheerful.
The accommodation was perfect for our purposes - a comfortable, clean, convenient, modern place to stop over whilst touristing! Our second visit. We recommend it without hesitation!

The Manager and staff were polite, helpful and friendly. I left my PC charger in the room and they were good even enough to post it back to me at my home address. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. The shower room and WC were tired and really needed replacing but having said that for a stop over night it was perfectly adequate.

Being an apparthotel we had complete flexibility to "eat in" rather than find a restaurant every night as there was a small and surprisingly well-equiped kitchenette with all that we needed in the way of utensils for light meal preparation; this also made our stay in Cacassonne very economical. distance from the medieval city. The staff is friendly and helpful:
there was a problem with the room they assigned us - twin beds instead
of a double one - and they were very accomodating, and quick in finding
a solution. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment and it was very clean
and spacious, with a large balcony and a stunning view of the fortified
