So unexpectedly lovely - the converted attic/loft had ample space for four, very comfortable beds for everyone (no horrid sofa beds here), a big fridge, efficient a/c, a lovely little lounge to relax in, and a delicious and pleasant breakfast to boot. I thought that the loft was utterly charming - stylish, really comfortable and very well thought through. We loved that it was self-contained - we could relax with a glass of wine in the sitting room while our sons slept next door. There is a park across the road with a children's play area, which was perfect for letting off steam the following morning! We came as part of a two day trip to exlore Wissant, the surrounding area and to do some shopping. Thorughly recommend it and will be back.

1. Great location, only 10 min drive to hypermarket and 10 min to the sandy nice beach
2. Family friendly
3. Fridge to store your shopping if needed
4. Clean, tidy, and it has a vintage feel to it, where you could forget you are actually in Calais
5. Hostess was great, polite, friendly and it felt like we were invited to a long lost friends homes
6. If i was passing through Calais, i would stay here.
7. No hidden fees, excellent cost, and hostess knows great spot for free parking.

For the same price as a basic motel room, this is way better... it is, for us, a part of the holiday, not just an overnight stop. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic room, beautifully appointed, as was the bathroom. Thoroughly recommend the hotel. Madame Bisschop is a very welcoming hostess and has made all the rooms we saw (3 out of the 4 available) stunning. We shall be recommending it. - That we could take our dog as we were travelling to central France on holiday the following day and needed a room for just one night. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable and the owners were friendly. The breakfast was good and the hotel was great value for money, located in a quiet street but convenient to the Channel Tunnel. We would definitely stay at Le Cercle De Malines again.

This hotel is the former George V hotel and is undergoing total renovation so it is a bit difficult to give a full opinion. Work was still going on in the corridors but our room (in the Superior Class) was very spacious and extremely well appointed except there was no mirror in the bedroom. Lovely towels and toiletries and extremely comfortable

We liked everything - There is not one thing we would criticize. I love this hotel, and their staff. Everyone is super helpful and the
rooms are very comfortable. The bathrooms are superb with a walk-in
shower, and the standard of cleanliness is excellent. I love the area
given over for breakfast, and any small pastries left over from
breakfast are put on a trolley in reception with a kettle and teabags
and coffe, and guests can help themselves for free during the day. It is
excellent.

We spend a great weekend in Calais, and this hotel was definitely one of the main reasons. Late check-in was no problem, and we were still able to have dinner and drinks at this hour. The bed was very comfortable and the staff really friendly. -

Simple, excellent value for the price, quiet rooms, simple but very tasty buffet breakfast included, very helpful staff. The reception is (theoretically) open open 24/7 (even though you might need to give them a wakeup call if arrived at an unusual time - say, 4am - so keep your mobile charged). Plenty of free parking space.

The hotel was very easy to find. Just popped address into Satnav and we
were there within about 5 mins. You couldn't ask for a more central
location really. A very small walk and we were in the middle of Calais,

I have stayed here when it was the Bonsai which was cheap and cheerful and this continues to be the case. The bedrooms appear to have befitted from a face-lift. The reception was welcoming and helpful and unlike other budget hotels appeared to be on duty quite late at night. As the name suggests it's right next to the station so handy for foot passengers. There is a Carrefour just over the road and many bars and restaurants close by. The town centre is 5 minutes walk. Free wi-fi in the room. Pl
