The staff were highly attentive, especially Fernando, who I believe was the manager. He made us feel very special given it was a birthday trip. Extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful and well located, walking distance to the shops and Pope's palace. The rooms are huge by European standards and well appointed. We will definitely stay here again.

This was my second stay at La Mirande, and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The staff is exceptional and very willing to help in any way. We used Avignon as our base to travel all around Provence and felt we were returning to a quiet home estate at the end of each day. Beautiful surroundings and the melodic ringing of bells is simply perfection.

I liked the tranquillity of a hotel which was set so centrally. It was lovely to come back and sit in the garden of an afternoon. Also it was so convenient for the railway and bus services but as well as having access to everything locally (the Rhone just a stone's throw away). We enjoyed the unique experience of living on a boat for a few days. It was a new experience for us and certainly made our trip to France more memorable. It was great watching the rowers go by and we found we were well situated to see the Pont Du Avignon and were close to the old city. The breakfast served by the host was very good each morning

This is a large, converted Dutch barge, with just 2 spacious cabins. Its
moored just upstream of the famous bridge at Avignon, but is completely
secluded with a pool, hammocks and recliners on deck which you can use
during the day if you wish. Breakfasts are superb and taken on deck; the

The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great location, across the road from the Old City walls and bus stop which goes to the TGV station. The regional train station is a very short walk. The room was very modern, clean and a good size. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend. -
