Hotel Room was very good. Hotel is new and modern on the inside, old
chateau exterior.. Good pool and steam room. You have to ask to have it
put on as it is left off. It does work, just ask. Do not expect an old
world chateau experience it's modern. Restaurant meal was very good.

Easy to find on a main road with free paring outside. We were warmly greeted at the door by the proprietor, who helped us carry our bags in and showed us to the room. The hotel has old features and a clean modern feel. We felt totally relaxed after a long drive as soon as we walked through the door. Our room was clean and fresh with wooden floors

The location was ideal for us. Not being in the centre of town it wasn't too hectic. Designer furniture and spotlessly clean. Our 2 night stay was very enjoyable. Staff were great and nothing too much trouble. We had the breakfast option and found it good value for money. Showers had decent pressure and plenty of hot water at 0930.
We had the comfort room which we later learnt is the budget small room. Fine for 2 nights if passing through but too small for longer stays. Minimal storage for two

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were well laid out, spacious and comfortable. The hotel was clean and well presented with a pretty garden to relax in and where you could also take breakfast in the covered out door dinning area. We are both entranced by the charming ambience of the hotel. It suited
our needs perfectly. The bedroom was large and lovely. The breakfast
room was decorated in a pale yellow , patterned china cups and saucers
took us back to a relaxed, gentle era. The rose garden and traditional
sculptures were enchanting too. What a perfect "retreat" after
enjoying the many things of interest in La Rochelle. We plan to return
to the same hotel next year.

We liked the quality and design of the room, lobby spaces, entrance areas and location. Naturally the friendly and helpful personal and good breakfast crowned our stay. -

Great location, friendly staff who were very helpful. Room with kitchenette was clean and well equipped, especially the filter coffee machine in the room. Our car was accommodated by staff who reserved a parking bay for us for the whole stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to explore La Rochelle. -

Recently refurbished, this is a very comfortably hotel in a superb location. Just 60 seconds walk from the old port where you can see the three towers for which La Rochelle is aptly famous and just around the corner from the Rue Saint Jean du Perot where you can find a range of excellent restaurants.

What a gem!!!!!! Lovely friendly welcome. Beautiful, sparkling clean hotel. Very centrally located.Our bedroom overlooked a small private garden,with chairs and tables. Just so sweet! A real treat!!!!!! All members of staff were friendly and went out of their way to help and answer all our questions. Would highly recommend. A+++. Thank you all so much.

Hosts were very helpful & friendly & spoke English offering us a welcome drink on arrival, efficient and organised knowing many details of the local restaurants etc.. The room was in an annexe at the end of a beautiful garden laid with palms, decking and pool, it has separate private entrance and was tastefully decorated and well equipped

Sandrine and Jean Louis are a wonderful couple who made us feel most welcome to their lovely home. Spotless, beautifully designed and highly comfortable.
Lagord is a great centre for La Rochelle with a Park and Ride only metres away. No parking problems. Perfect.

The staff were absolutely fantastic. We were greeted with a smile, and
my inconcsistent French speaking skills were not a problem. The lovely
woman even gave my young son a new nickname! My wife and I were both
impressed with the size, and comfort of the room. Bright and airy with

Great view from the rooms facing the marina. From these rooms after 8 pm
you get a nice view on the street that is closed for public traffic and
made a long pedestrian zone with musicians and artists and a lot of
people. The rooms are modern and really clean. A lot of great
restaurants are along the street. It's worth to take a nice walk
around the little harbour and through the old city.
