  The hotel had a lovely tranquil feel to it. The room with ensuite bathroom was lovely. The staff were really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. - Rooms are clean and unlikely to many other hotels - equipped with hair dryers. Does not matter for me but for my wife - it does.

  staffs are friendly, wifi works well, the triple room is pretty big and comfortable. Nice location, although it's not at the centre the transportation is great. A Tesco Extra locates close to the hotel (5min walk) - great place to buy water and stuff that are usually extremely expensive in sight-seeing spots. - Nice small hotel with all you need.... τι λέει ο κόσμος » Parking is included which is the biggest advantage. Location is ok but not the best, however there's always a compromise of price/location/services offered, which made me choose this hotel. No regrets.

  Absolutely loved this hotel. Didn't know it was a renovated convent. Very close, but extremely quite location. 3 minutes to the castle and about 5 to the St. Charles Bridge. Perfect, newer, quiet, clean and restful. I highly, highly recommend this hotel. I especially LOVED the breakfast area...3rd floor attic with tons of character.   After a weekend of alcoholic debauchery in Brno, my girlfriend and me had a last stop at Prague before leaving home. And really, this was such a difference compared to what we've experienced in Brno. The stop was the Golden Star hotel, a home from home with friendly personnel who helped us immediately. Sure, the climb up - We liked the location of the hotel - just below the Castle. It looks like an old building but nicely renovated. Cosy and romantic, with a lot of wooden and "golden" details. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room...We would be happy to stay at Golden Star again.

  We give AT THE GREEN GRAPE 4 stars Lenka and Tanya were beyond amazing. With Lenka's knowledge of where to dine, ( we had dinner 3 times at the cozy 'Little Whale'. The food was outstanding. We also had help with planning our day and how to navigate. Tanya's pancakes were melt in your mouth wonderful. Prague is all about walking the cobble stone s... τι λέει ο κόσμος » ide walks, the Charles Bridge, the beautiful buildings, the history, the music, the art, the churches, the friendly people, the food.....I could go on - Everything! The room was very spacious and the whole hotel was beautifully finished. Breakfast was very good. Location was perfect, being close enough to all the main sites but being quiet enough to get away from the crowds. Being a smaller hotel, it felt like very personal service and attention to detail. They also brought us a bottle of wine when they knew it was my husband's birthday which was a very lovely gesture.
