Located within the UNESCO-protected Diocletian’s Palace in Split, Julije Rooms is housed in a traditional building. It offers individually decorated units with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.
All rooms come with a seating area and a private bathroom with hairdryer and free toiletries. Amenities include an LCD satellite TV and ironing facilities. Some are decorated with stone wall elements.
Guests can start their day with breakfast served in the restaurant, which is 50 metres from Julije Rooms. Lunch and dinner are also available upon request and with a special discount.
All Split’s major attractions, as well as numerous restaurants, bars and cafés can be found in the vicinity. The well-known Bačvice Beach is 800 metres away.

We were contacted by text to find out our arrival time so we could be greeted, despite being extremely late, we received an excellent welcome and were helped to our room. Could not be more impressed with the helpfulness and professionalism! The room was in an amazing location right in the palace. The beds were comfortable and the room facilities were great.
A spotlessly clean, comfortable room and more than adequate bathroom. Kettle and tea provided. This was a rather basic option, but very well located and suitable for a couple of nights stay. Ana, Ivana and Kate were all very pleasant and helpful.όλα τα σχόλια »
The staff were extremely professional and helpful, the accommodation was exactly as depicted in the photos, modern, very clean, great location and quiet within the old town is hard to find, kettle and cups in room was a real bonus.
I liked the location. Didn't like using 4 keys! Right in Old town of Split. Adequate room, WiFi. Maybe supply soap in the future.
Okay room for the price. Fairly basic but clean and comfortable.
The location is amazing, within the Diocletians palace. And the bathroom (Aug, 2013) was brand new! There is a common area with a kitchen and a fridge for your use.

The location of Julije Rooms is perfect, right in the middle of the old town of Split. It was clean and had everything that we needed.

Due to its location there was a bit of street noise. But as compromises go, I wouldn't have moved away from this location!.
The first impression of the building and entrance is off-putting and we were not sure if we would stay, until we got inside. A clean up of the entrance and steps and a plant pot with a few flowers would make the approach to Julije Rooms much look much more appealing.

The instructions to get to the hotel were not clear, do not follow them better ask otherwise you'll get lost. But at the end the staff was super friendly and went looking for us.
The walls are rather thin and we could hear the other guests very well unfortunately.
The noise outside our window, which lasted until late at night and returned early in the morning.
A decent set of stairs up to the front door, not such good insulation against noise in neighbouring rooms.
It was a good location but there was nothing homey about it. It was a nice, clean room with a nice clean bathroom.
Pillows were enormous! Got to sleep with a decoration pillow...
Our check in process was poorly communicated to us. We did not know we were to find the reception office. The phone number on the web site is out of order
Did not give clean towels the next day.
Pillows were way too big and we woke up every morning with sore neck. Otherwise great place to stay and can recommend it to anyone!.
