Host couple, great communication, location in a charming town. Rovinj makes a good base for exploring the Istrian Coast - buses to Pula and Porec; ferry to Venice. Fantastic restaurant a few steps from the apartment - Knoba Taverna Tipico.
Arrived in Rovinj in killer heat--Alexandra couldn't have been more
welcoming. The air conditioner was on, and she arranged to drive with my
husband to drop off the rental car--very kind. The upstairs room was

Lovely picturesque place right in the middle of historic old-town. Manager very service-minded and pleasant.
Aleksandra our host was very friendly and helpful. The location in the centre of the old town was perfect.
The location is in the old city and beautiful. Also, the owner is a super nice and very helpful.
Heavy, awkward front door was difficult to negotiate both in and out. We were prepared for the stairs, but the bathroom is on a different level than the large bedroom which might be a problem at times.
The stairs are steep--be prepared! And the kitchen is tiny. But we
ate dinner out, and were only there for a night anyhow, so it all
worked out.
Pack smart, use sneakers and settle parking before arrival. AC needs upgrade!.
No real complaints, but be aware all places in the town require going up stairs. Pack light.
