is a short walk to the beach (we enjoyed our coffee there in the
morning...with the sun and the view). If you don't mind a little
walk, you can even get to downtown Opatija. There is a grocery store
down the street. The view from the apartment is absolutely gorgeous.

We stayed at Villa Luppo for a couple of days in August 2013. I can only wish we had more time! Our family had a terrific time. Katia and Ivo are great hosts! Welcoming, very attentive to our needs, always ready to help. We arrived late, it was already dark, they met us nearby and directed us to the apartment. Villa Palme is a beautiful apartment hotel with a fantastic view over the sea. Erika, the owner, is so nice and helpful and welcome you in a warm atmosphere. Close to everything, by walking. Be ready to walk ups and down since Opatia is buit in hills. But it is good to move after a good dinner and some drinks. Taxi is very cheep. -

You really cannot beat the location, the view or the setting. Truly

Talking about a room with a view, this is the best you will get for your money, you look down from the mountain side on a major part of the Kvarner Bay. The rooms are spacious enough and offer descent comfort. During the breakfast on the huge terrace, you can again enjoy the view together with the morning sunshine over the bay.

Hotel Sv. Jakov is located in a gorgeous little villa facing the Sv. Jakov park. The hotel restaurant's terrace - where breakfast was served - was an absolute highlight! The place is beautiful, easy to reach but off the main road and 50 meters from the seaside.
The staff is kind, helpful and efficient. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom has a bathtub for soaking.
The hotel has free access to a pool and a jacuzzi inside a greenhouse, so it's warm and comfortable even when the weather outside

bedroom suite, which was very spacious and comfortable. The included
breakfast was diverse, and the kitchen was more than happy to prepare
scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage upon request. For those with a car,
the location is perfect - we explored the entire Istrian peninsula as
well as parts of Slovenia.
