The suport of the staff is great.
The location is also great.
A washingmashiene is for a small fee avaiable and also laundry drying places.
Cheap, friendly staff and other travellers. Really chilled out.
Okay place to stay. Rooms are a bit run down, but clean beds. Shower was
not too good. No pressure and only extremely hot water. It's a 5-10
minute walk from the subway (if you're walking from shansanjie
subwaystation take exit 3 and go right, it's the fastest way to get
there). Indeed mostly Chinese here. It's right in the touristarea,
so if you like that kind of thing, it's right up your alley. We had
a room overlooking the water so that was nice. Overall, would recommend
to stay here. όλα τα σχόλια »
I left my phone/passport and a member of staff found it and gave them to me so that was a life saver!!
Good English, helpful staff.
Lively atmosphere.
Internet in public area was good, had 3 ports for wifi so if one was bad could go on another.
If you're like me and learning chinese this place seems to be a hotspot for young chinese travelers so you will have lots of people to practice with.
Warm atmosphere (the hostel mostly caters Chinese young backpackers), I had a spacious twin room with en-suite bathroom. Free wifi (but it worked in the lobby area only).
the lobby is good.
Too hot showers. WiFi is not available in the back rooms on the second
floor. Not the closest place to the subway, but it's an easy walk.
Location, is far from tram stop. Contruction for local attractions and area, was quite noicy.
The fire exit map was different from the actual building. It looks like from that map the hostel was a lot bigger. I looked through a gap and next door I could see a clothes shop. If you're in a different room this won't be an issue but the shop played loud music between 9-9 everyday, so expect to we woken.
Public areas can be very smokey.
Reception and common areas look rather dirty. Cats roaming around. Some staff do not speak English. No toiletries provided. My room was very noisy due to street work.
dorm is a bit noisy...maybe because of the tourists...room air is not fresh and no wifi coverage in dorm rooms.
