The location of this hotel is perhaps only surpassed by its design. The rooms are something else here! Very well thought out, they could well be the best I ever stayed in. I would also be surprised if the pool did not get any design awards. Awe inspiring! -

The attention to detail at the Fairmont Peace Hotel is second to none. From the friendly nature of the staff, exquisite surroundings and location. The Fairmont Peach Hotel is one of new favourite hotels. The service was outstanding from the moment we were collected from the airport and during our whole stay. I cant recommend this hotel enough.

Good location, just 100 m from Nanjing Road (if you like it), right in the middle between The Bund and People's Park. There surely are other hotels with a prime view, like Hyatt On The Bund, The Peninsula, Shangri-La on the Pudong side of the Huanghu river but compare the rates. The hotel is perfectly located, close to the pedestrian street and public transport, but far enough to not get any noise from it. Lobby is grand, and the open restaurant is excellent, get the grilled salmon for lunch! Gym facilities and pool is fantastic, lots of space and good equipment. The room & bathroom are spacious and well equipped, with complimentary bath salts, fluffy towels, robes and slippers. Amazing views of the Bund area that is a five minute walk away from the hotel. There is Good selection of bars and restaurants available. -

I found the hotel so great in term of cost, location, cleanses and overall staff assistance though I found English language were little problem with them but they so cooperative and helpfull. -

Location, location, location!
I stayed here twice. The hotel is close to the train station - People's Square, exit 14. It's in walking distance to East Nanjing Rd without all the noise. You can also walk to the Bund really easily.
The staff are super friendly and speak English well. Breakfast was ok-good as it was included, no complaints there.

The ambience of the hotel was really good all through out the hotel, the
interior design from the lobby to the reception to the restaurants and
especially the rooms is outstanding.
The staff were very helpful and eager to serve in whatever way they can. From helping to arrange sightseeing tours or mapping out places to go, or picking up a taxi.
The staff spoke very good english, especially the concierge.

Hotel location is in a good part of the city. The stuff is doing everything to satisfy customers. At first, we have been located to a room that we didn't like. We explained to reception our complaints and asked for room change. But unfortunately all same level rooms were occupied. Anyway, they have upgrated us to another room type and changed room
