Using the directions provided we found the lodge easily. Its one right turn off the main road into town. I liked that it is right beside a huge park so we had a nice view when sitting on the deck. The staff were great and really friendly, they responded to all requests immediately. The room had everything we needed and I loved the patio set on the deck and the games room. Glenn pointed us to the trail head located in the park right next to the lodge and we took a beautiful walk along the coast,.
όλα τα σχόλια » When I first booked I cancelled thinking this would not be an accommodation that would suit our needs for a stress free romantic weekend away. Glenn and Dianne responded by email and I am so happy they did. Glenn and Dianne, what a pleasant couple. We stayed in room 5 it was quiet, clean and cozy. I have nothing but great things to say about this room, everything is tasteful and comfortable!!! Thank you for a great stay, we will return!!. Glen and his wife were wonderful. They went out of their way to make us both comfortable. The room with the jet tub and fire place was fantastic. The beds were high class...the room was above value. I would ..and will go there again. Lots of room...and very friendly hosits. You can not do better than this is such a small and interesting town. One of BC's very best!. Very friendly and helpful owners. New facility built atop boat storage shop, mainly to accommodate owners' fishing guiding business clients. Very clean. Very comfortable beds. Included access to common activity room. Not oceanfront, but not $200/night either. We enjoyed our stay. the room was stunning!!! the view of the harbor!!! the games room was unbelievable!! relaxing and fun..lots of room for gatherings to play games or just to watch a movie..the wild pacific trail starting right up the street...and the owners were so friendly and fun!!!!. easy bikeride into town and the harbour. very close to great restaurants owner+staff were very friendly room had lovely high ceiling and spa\jetted tub. wonderful common area with lots of windows and light, very nice atmosphere!. Hello we stay at the hotel one nigth ,we arrive late and the Guy stay up for us :))) the room was very confortable , and the morning he told us where To go eat !!!!!!! And the place was amazing :))))). We found the lodge to be just a short drive to the park which was the object of our short visit. They have excellent accommodations, clean and comfortable, courteous staff. Would love to return!. The owner is nice. He waited for us when we arrived. The room is really nice. We didn't have to chance to use the bath tub though... The room is clean and new!. The woman who owns the lodge was very friendly and welcoming. The room was roomy, modern, and clean, and the view from our window was wonderful. The room was great, spacious with 2 queen size beds and an extra large bath within the room with a direct view of the sea and the mountains. Luxurious beds! Clean and new. Big windows. Cooperative owners. Confirmation of reservation the day prior to arrival. Great, clean, nicely finished room. Staff was friendly & accommodating. Will defiantly stay again. The nice room, jet tube in room with marvelous view, game room. Very good value for the area, especially the deluxe rooms. No traffic Large room Comfy beds free Internet. Clean , updated furniture and fixtures. Friendly owner,gave us useful hints what to do in town, new renovated room, quiet surrounding. I liked the large rooms And the common area to play games. It looked good on the web site. common room a good idea. I have nothing bad to say. I will howver say that this lodge/hotels appearance from the back entrance is deceiving, kindly remember that this is an accommodation that stores large boats and such. There is no formal 'office' to check in but it does not reflect the amazing lodgings up the stairs... This midnight outside smoker (non smoking property) would have had a hard time seeing the keypad to open my door in the dark stairwell but I had a lighter, so it wasnt an issue (:. What would one complain about?..This is a fantastic deal managed by caring people...what more could a guest want?. Nothing. that I only was there one night!!! definatley going back. the area around the lodge has yet to be developed, not a big deal though. Difficult to find a place to eat in Ucluelet...long waits!. The shampoo in the washroom is used up... We didn't call the owner cuz we brought our own ones anyway, but this might be a problem for other guests. My only suggestion would be to add a small refrigerator and a microwave. Lack of sound-proofing!. a lot stairs into the room. Hot water could have been hotter. Stairs to get to room. Hotel/hostel is not finished yet and has a steep outside stairway, a little bit out of town. I didn't like the fact that there were no smoke dectectors in our room or common area and there was no toilet paper in our room and when we finally tracked down the owner and told her we were told that we should have used the common area toilet. It was clean and inexpensive but i would not go back based on the above. The appearance is very weak. The building is a pre-fabricated in an industrial area. There is NO sound-proofing at all. Not recommended for a romantic and relaxing stay. The outside of the building looks like a farm. The furnishing of the room needs some adjustments like some small lights. The plumbing for the bath was bad: not enough hot water and an orangy coloured sand came with it. - hard to find - stairs just to get to the place - built on top of a warehouse - no smoke detector in room. Facilities and area within resort were crude. Building was not complete: wiring/lights, no telephone, no lamps. ridiculously high beds and chairs. Nowhere to sit comfortably - no lamps. Rugs not clean. Painting and wiring incomplete in places. Curtains are see through. Lots of noise from upstairs. Not for handicapped and/or older people - 3 flights of steep stairs? Come on - also no smoke detectors; no bannisters on the final set of steps - extra charge for a baby and a toddler - not a family friendly place. Very cheaply/poorly built-no soundproofing at all - could hear every word from floor above. Bed sagged so much in centre, our backs were sore. Place clearly unfinished, photos greatly misleading.
