I enjoyed the pool and way it was set up., particularly as it was divided into in essence a shallow and deep pool. Very good for young children. The hot tub was also a great addition. While the water was warm.
I liked the fact that you had two internet connected computers easily accessible.
The ad for pizza & drinks for $16.00 was a good

Steven at the front desk was VERY helpful. He set up our internet in the room on the laptop. He was very busy helping other people as well. A very good employee. Very informative also.
Like the hot tub. Love the location. Walked around the market

The front desk and concierge staff were outstanding. We had a problem with the air conditioning. Someone came to look at it and said it was working fully but that the room was not cooling. They gave us keys to another room and said we could have whichever room was the most comfortable.
The beds and pillows are the best. -

I appreciated the warm welcome at the reception. I was in the Gold
Lounge and had some excellent facilities like wifi, breakfast, books and
newspapers. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The
staff was very courteous. I needed a specific type of tea which was

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The every one of the staff members
were incredibly friendly, the valet, front desk, even the janitor! The
location is amazing. You're right downtown Ottawa, parliament hill
is right next door, the byward market is a 2 minute walk away and
you're also right by the rideau mall and numerous museums.

The room was quite comfortable and clean. It was perfect having the desk space as I could set up and work there during the evening. The couch was perfect for watching TV rather than having to sit/lie on the bed. The location was perfect -- halfway between my son's apartment (university student) and the Byward Market. The staff were very friendly

The hotel is "hidden from view" as it were. It is a bit out of the way (and close to a somewhat run down area), yet in reality, super-close to everything that matters in downtown Ottawa, and easy access to transportation. So, lesser known which gives it a good price for an excellent location. And rooms spacious for the size. Young staff very helpful and polite.

Staff were exceptionally helpful and always cheerful (including the cleaning staff!). Great location, comfortable and clean room, free parking. This particular Days Inn is as good as a 2- or 3-star hotel can be. - Day clerk very helpful.

The accommodations were impecable, only $40 more than a cubicle motel
room but all the luxury. The location was great, right downtown, and
within easy walking istance to everything. Had a wonderful time and the
bed was extremely comfortable. -

The major plus point for this hotel is the location. The hotel itself is
not bad but does need updating and redecorating. Upon arrival we had to
park the car and this could have been a bit of a problem as there are
not many spaces for a hotel of this size. Luckily we found the one
remaining space and left the car there for 2 nights at $15 plus tax

night. Ok so the price is in line with other public car parks but as a
guest of the hotel it could have been free in line with other hotels.

The location is unbeatable; Capital Hill forms an unlikely trio with Fairmount Chateau Laurier and The Elgin Hotel in giving you prime access to the centre of Ottawa, two blocks from Parliament etc.
The room, while basic, had all the amenities and was cleaned to a high standard every day.
The price is excellent compared to similarly positioned hotels. If you pay 50$ per person, per night as we did, you cannot expect this hotel to be of a standard found at Laurier or Elgin or any high-hotels!!!

I was very impressed with the front desk assistance. I had booked with letsbookhotel.com, left my full name on the information yet somehow letsbookhotel.com had my first name as my last name and N/A as my first. Bryan at the front desk couldn't find me in the computer due to this fact and took the time to phone letsbookhotel.com to get what extra

I really enjoyed the king size bed. The room was quiet and clean.
The best part about the hotel was the location. I came in to see the CG on the Hill and it was a pleasant walk to the hill.
