I loved the accommodation. The Owner, Jane made sure I was completely comfortable and if I needed anything to let her know. I loved just the relaxing atmosphere and hearing the calming sounds of the waves breaking shore. Beautiful view and the beach, just steps away was wonderful. I'd go again in a second. -

MacKechnie House was like going back in time. I loved staying in an 1840 home with all it's elegance. The 12 foot ceilings, french doors which open up from the dining room to the porch was so quaint. Lovely English garden allowing each guest their own privacy. Rooms were super clean and we had our own privacy with our own washroom. It was sup

My sister and I spent the night for her birthday, we stayed in the Mrs Fortune room which was very luxurious for a little girl's first experience with a bed and breakfast. The owner happily showed us around the property and answered our questions about the historic charm of the Estate. The food was gourmet, again a first for my sister, who ate everything. It was a wonderful getaway, and so close to downtown Cobourg
