The room is very comfortable and has a good size. The bathroom is modern style and the shower is very nice. Breakfast is okay - you can choose one breakfast meal from the menu. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is situated near the Mekong river, the royal palace and the central market. Wifi connection was really good, calling via skype was no problem at all. More than what we expected for it's budget range. Towels and sheets were clean and new. Interior design of rooms were simple yet very cosy with nice ethnic touches. Well thought out and looked like a more expensive hotel. Basic amenities like hair dryers, safe, flat screen tv all provided for.

I stayed there for 7 days in December and my experience was very nice. I would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Phnom Penh on a budget. New HOTEL with helpful staff in the reception not fare away from the nightmarket and the river, good situated. Nice modern decoration in the rooms and the reception bar. Unfortunately there was no elevator so that we have to carry the luggage to our room, which was in the 3rd floor. in the morning for breakfast it was too slowy and the people the haven't received together there order. Takes some time for the shower to get hot. The door was difficult to lock. No lift,which if you were staying on second or third floor is a big issue. The taps in the bathroom did not work properly, so I was getting only drizzles of water even in the shower. No lift. .. Shared balcony (not private) Construction noise, even on Sunday next door, very loud. Nothing. Sliding door needs to be improved as well as door lock not properly aligned and heavy. The breakfast was poor and very small. I immediately felt not welcome at this hotel due to the person on reception who received me. We were informed that we were expected to pay upfront for everything and we were treated with an attitude that didn't suggest respect. I will be proactively telling people not to stay here via my blog. There is no lift, staircase are too steep. AC in my room was poor. Bfast was very basic - no bufet. We were in the back building and had to pass the kitchen and go outside to access it. The room was bed smell but when we asked the reception they changed our room for new one. When I payed the terminal break down and I never received the confirmation that transaction was cancelled. Room without Windows Bad smelling in Barth room in no. 14. Room Nr 5 is ok. Breakfast was a bit poor. The room reminded me of a cave and our room was not cleaned or bed made during our 2night stay. Cold showers Rooms have no natural light or air flow, stuffy, almost like a prison Noisy Better hotels for same price.
