Located within the gardens of Kep National Park, Veranda Natural Resort is a hilltop resort overlooking the sea. Featuring Khmer-style wooden bungalows, it offers an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi. Veranda Natural Resort is 1.5 km from the beach. It is 12 km from Kampot province’s public bus station. Phnom Penh International Airport is about 135 km away. The air-conditioned rooms come with a flat-screen TV, a minibar, and an en suite bathroom. Each room is fitted with wooden furnishings and features a private terrace or balcony. Guests can browse items in the gift shop, or take a stroll around the resort and enjoy the natural scenery. Other facilities include a tour desk, a minimart, and a 24-hour reception. Offering ocean views, the open-air restaurant serves Western and Asian dishes. It also features fresh seafood and grilled specialities. Snacks and cocktails can be enjoyed at the poolside bar.

Everything! The location, the setting, the rooms and villas, the swimming pool, the terrace - everything was wonderful! We enjoyed every single minute at the Veranda. The staff was also very kind to upgrade us to a larger house, since they had space and availability. The whole experience at the Veranda was fantastic. The place is great for a relaxing holiday. The staff are very helpful and extremely welcoming, in particular their German PR (whose name I forgot). Highly recommended.

The calmness, the silnce, the smiling and friendly approach from the staff, the set up, the overall nature. Beautiful place, very nice service and excellent pool. All that you need for great holiday!. We loved the surroundings and the design-type of the resort. It was simply stunning. Attention to detail in the design of the hotel. Spaciousness of the rooms. Hotel architecture, the location, the incredible food. Thé view on the sea. Staff service, food. The resort has a lovely ambiance, with the "treehouse" theme making it feel as if you're on an adventure. The bungalow rooms have a quirky and fun design. The breakfast is great. No relevant negative points, although we found the food in the restaurant slightly overpriced, and the swimming pool could be a little bit cleaner. Distance from the beach and the steep road up to the hotel, poor tuk tuk drivers. Evrything was perfect. We didn't like the fact that all bungalows/villas were easily accessible by lizzards, spiders and musquitos. It's a vivid place next to a national park, but when boasting this type of services, it should be able to keep critters out of the room. Check the edges of doors and windows for cracks and gaps. The food quality falls below the standard of the hotel. Front-desk staff seemed uncertain about the hotel procedures (check-in). the pillows could be much more comfortable. The water of pool very cold. WiFi network. The service is very slow, even by South-East Asia standards. There is no wi-fi in the rooms, despite the hotel advertising it in all areas. My husband got ill after eating one of the items from the restaurant menu (but I also ate from the restaurant and I did not get sick at all so it was most likely just that one menu item). The credit-card machine did not work upon checkout, and it took longer than necessary for the hotel staff to come up with an appropriate payment option.
