Its location is very good for the best beach and safety in Rio area. The staff is so nice that you don't have to worry about anything though they cannot speak good English. My special thanks give to the staff who found and returned the scarf my wife forgot in the restaurant. Also the food is unique and delicious. will use it again. -

Right on the Copacabana beach, Fantastic pool on the roof overlooking the beach. - On Copacabana. Excellent view of the sea - sugar loaf as well as Christ from roof top. Good swimming pool on roof top and service. Exellent buffet; Morning, lunch and dinner.

The management and all the staff were very helpful and friendly it is situated near the old town square of Largo de Marcado 10 minutes pleasant walk from Flamengo beach and park with its own metro station located in the square everywhere you need to go is easy to reach but do avoid rush hour plenty of restaurants and tapas bars shops and supermark

There are several things I loved about Scorial Rio Hotel:
1. The rooms were very very comfortable with the most up to date technology, beautiful bathrooms, and most importantly, very clean.
2. The Flamengo area is a great in Rio de Janeiro to stay, where you can stay at a great hotel, but not pay the price as you would in Copacabana or Ipanema. Restaurants in the area are great and its a safe area. There is also lots of shopping that can be done in Flamengo.

Although this was a 3* hotel and the photos available of the hotel were limited, upon arrival i was very pleasantly surprised by all aspects. I found the staff to be approachable and helpful. The ocean view room was terrific - great view of Copacabana Beach. Plus, we allowed a late check out because our flight home left in the evening. In all, the experience was excellent. -

There were just no problems with anything, a refreshing change from most hotels these days!

Very nice hotel. Very clean and neat!, My Room had a beaufitul view of the beach. Breakfast buffet was excellent! (hot and cold). The lobby is very pretty. Corcovado mtn. From 33rd floor corner room. (Request a high floor for

Windows open so you can hear the ocean all night long... Very clean,
quiet, double sinks in bathroom - marble and hardwood floors. Staff is
excellent, friendly and almost all speak English.

I was upgraded to an ocean view room.
The room was very comfortable and quiet with a magnificent view - as had the gym and the breakfast terrace. Breakfast was excellent, as would be expected for a hotel of its level. and sincere of our needs and surprised us with champagne when he found
out it was our 20 years wedding anniversary.
We remember him out of the many hotels we visited to four countries in our first South America trip.
