situated very close to lapa and the famous stairs of Santa Teresa also a short walk to either lapa or Santa Teresa (very hilly) maybe get taxi due to heat and luggage (or not) :) the two younge owner couple where very accommodating and wanted to help anyway possible the place had amazing views over centro with a rooftop chill out! would love to have stayed longer this place is good if you want great value and close to centre/lapa (a must on the weekend) the area might come across as unsafe but . όλα τα σχόλια »
The owners are very friendly and helpful, they will go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. The common area was comfortable and the views of the city are fantastic. The bed was comfortable (about 4 inch foam) and the bathroom was small but adequate (private but not attached to the room, just a step across the hall).
The house is in a beautiful location, great little neighborhood (santa
theresa) to explore. Safe at night to walk around and plenty of
restaurants nearby. The rooms/accommodations are clean and beautiful
with great views of the city from the rooftop. Owners are very friendly
and helpful.
Ramona and Rafaël are kind people and Maracuja was a wonderful place to stay for a good price. Breakfast is great and diverse, all other facilities are good too. Location is good, enough options for public transport and near to Santa Teresa which is worth a visit. The view is beautiful.

I arrived a day early but Rafael still found a comfortable room for me. The rooms are clean and adequate. Breakfast was brilliant. Rafael and Ramona were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

If you're looking for tons of privacy this is not the place. We
loved it but you have to be happy meeting the owners and other guests.
The bed is a bit hard, but not too bad.
It is a difficult journey to the apartment by taxi and several taxi drivers refused to drive up the hill. However, I discovered a series of steps, the Escadaria Selarón, which means you that can walk from the metro to the apartment in about five minutes. They are also spectacular so you need to check them out.
