We spent 3 nights here. Our priorities are comfy beds, clean bathrooms, free wifi and free parking, and a delicious breakfast, and the Amaryllis had all this plus more courtesy of genial host Andre (a great ambassador for Belgium) who took a personal interest in making our stay enjoyable and worthwhile Our days were spent traipsing the countryside checking out the WW1 sites connected with a number of family members, and of past students of my school who never returned, and this meant a lot to u. όλα τα σχόλια »
This establishment is a must stay for those wishing to visit Ypres & the surrounding area.The Host Andre was most helpful & met all our needs & went out of his way to make our stay so enjoyable.The accomadation was quite spacious & clean,with a brilliant shower'A Breakfast of Boiled Eggs,Ham & Cheese was available together with Rolls,Bread & Cereals.Well Done Andre.Ron&Jackie.
By far the best B&B / Hotel I have ever stayed in. Andre who owns the B&B is excellent, speaks perfect english and very knowledgable friendly guy.The rooms are an excellent size, spotlessly clean and modern. Great location for visiting all the important sites in the area. Breakfast is plentiful, great quality and lots of choice. The home made Banana and Rhubarb jam is well worth a try ;).

None of the words above were relevant to our choice of this B+B. Its location at the focal point of WW1 battlefields in Belgium was why we were there. The owner was extremely helpful. His knowledge of the area and the history of WW1 were
extremely useful to us.
Our Andre was extremely helpful and interested in what we wanted to see and do in the area.
Amaryllis is close to everything and avoids being in the bustle of Ieper.
The breakfasts were great and varied.

Everything. Andre is a very friendly, knowledgeable chap and nothing was too much trouble. The whole place was spotless and with a superb breakfast selection it rates highly as an outstanding choice for a short stay.
This was a great base for visiting the Flanders area. We were made very welcome and would highly recommend Amaryllis. If we revisit this area we will definitely stay here.
