Staff was very helpful and friendly as well as very efficient. As a business solo traveller of some 20 odd years, this was one of the best airport hotels I have stayed so far. The proximity to the airport is of course excellent.The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly.I would prefer it if the hotel had a few ice dispensers around. - Not bad for a quick overnight at the airport - quite comfortable and finally - an iron iron the room!. Wouldn't recommend as a vacation destination.

Very helpful personnel.
Although ibis is right next to a train station, no noise coming from the station could be heard in my room.
The WiFi Internet connection worked well most of the time, just in the evening there were problems with too many clients connected. In the night it gave a reliable 2/0.2 Mbit/s connection and sometimes even better.

A large bike parking lot right next to the hotel. -
The hotel is located a about 200m from the station exit, making it convenient to arrive by rail (as I did). There are quote a few bars and restaurants on the opposite side of the station, and various sandwich shops in the station concourse beneath the platforms. Proper restaurants can be found in the city Centre in Groot Markt which takes around 10-15 minutes to walk to, allowing a reconnaisance of a pleasant shopping street en-route

The staff welcome us wonderfully and were veryhelpful. The suites are tastefully decorated with varied themes and the bathrooms are so modern and clean...the whole hotel is inviting and cosy while professional and business-like. The restaurant is superb, though a bit pricy. The location is quiet despite being only 200 metres from Halle's mainline station. The fact that it has private locked parking for free makes this an excellent base for visiting Brussels - 15 minutes by direct train four times and hour. -
